Privacy Policy

TruTimer ("we", "us", "the App") is developed by Trulsson Ingrup AB. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it's used, and your choices. TruTimer does not require an account and does not collect your name, email, or any personal profile information.

Data stored only on your device

Your workouts, templates, timer settings, and workout history are stored locally on your device and are never sent to us. If you delete the App, this data is deleted with it. We have no access to it and cannot recover it.

Purchases

TruTimer Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple (App Store) on iOS or by Google (Google Play Billing) on Android. Payment details are handled by Apple or Google and never touch our servers. We use RevenueCat to verify your purchase and entitlement status; RevenueCat receives an anonymous device/purchase identifier from Apple or Google, not your personal or payment information. Advertising

Free-tier users may see banner ads served by Google AdMob. We request non-personalized ads only, meaning ads are not based on your ad history or profile. AdMob may still collect limited technical data (such as device type, approximate location and, on Android, the Android advertising ID) required to serve and measure ads and prevent fraud. See Google's privacy policy for details. Upgrading to Pro removes ads entirely.

Voice, sound & haptics

Spoken cues are generated on-device using your operating system's built-in text-to-speech engine. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.

Website analytics

This website (trutimer.app) uses Google Analytics to understand traffic, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects technical data like your IP address (used to estimate location, then discarded), device and browser type, and pages viewed. This applies only to the website — the TruTimer app itself does not include Google Analytics or any other analytics SDK. See Google's privacy policy for details.

What we don't do

• We don't require account creation or login.
• We don't collect your name, email, health data, or location.
• We don't sell your data — we don't have any to sell.
• The app itself doesn't use analytics or tracking SDKs beyond the ad and purchase services described above.

Children's privacy

TruTimer is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
